A few things I'm grateful for ///// Kirk. It's his birthday! ///// Visiting the Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island while in NY. It was an incredibly moving experience to learn about these places and to think about the millions of people who left so much behind to call the US home. Kirk and I both have great grandparents who came through Ellis Island, and it felt like, in a way, they were there with us. ///// Little Ingrid growing inside me. We've waited so long for her. I can't wait to meet her! ///// My life. I may not be rich, thin, or famous, but I feel incredibly blessed with my loved ones, enough to eat and a roof overhead, work that I enjoy, and the freedom to live my life how I choose. //// My country. Happy Fourth of July!
