I grew up in California and I'm growing old in Utah. I've driven the hot stretch of freeway between the two states many, many times. The landmarks of this 11 hour drive have become familiar, comforting reminders: Provo Canyon, the red rocks around St. George, the Las Vegas Strip, the Virgin River Gorge, the world's largest thermometer, Zzyzx Road, the Mad Greek, etc...
Is there a certain stretch of road that feels like home to you?
