Baby's 1st Halloween

She wore an elephant costume made by her Grandma Jorgensen (originally for her cousin D). (Thanks Grandma J!) She loved wearing it. I only had to show her once how to hold the trunk up and make an elephant sound.

We took her to the ward Halloween carnival, and she had a great time. Especially in the bounce house.

Will & Rebecca's Open House

The weather was unseasonable warm for October. It was a lovely night.

Will & Rebecca's Wedding

First, there was a simple, sweet ceremony in the the Chicago LDS Temple. Then there was a luncheon in this beautiful light filled downtown restaurant* overlooking the river. A day to remember.

The National Pastime

This post originally ran on the Sycamore blog.

Cracker Jacks and hot dogs.
A League of Their Own and The Sandlot.
My brothers' little league games and the Dodgers.
Jose Canseco and Orel Hershiser.

We went to a game for the first time in years, and it still felt like magic.

Lisa's BBQ

My aunt Lisa had a birthday recently and my uncle Peter threw a family barbeque for her. The weather was great, and Peter is a chef, so the food was amazing. Somehow I missed out on snapping a pic of the birthday girl, but at least I managed these.

I love summer barbeques, don't you?

To All The Dads

I'm sorry this is so incredibly late, but I still wanted to wish you a Happy Father's Day!

(This is me and my dad circa 1985.)

With Her Grandpa Pollock

I'm not sure who gave her this striped outfit, but it's great! (Was that you, Heidi?)
