My baby is 5 months old!
That means that in only one month, she'll be 6 months old. Halfway to a year.
I'll have to start her on solids. She'll start crawling... and all that other older baby stuff.
It's all going too fast! I had no idea how happy a tiny, chubby, poopy little person could make me! She is the best, most amazing thing, and Kirk and become more and more smitten with her every day... which I didn't think was possible! She has such a sweet, curious, and calm temperament. Sometimes when we put her down to bed at night, we have to pull out our phones and show each other photos of her because we miss her already. (We're such dorky parents, I know.)
And I'm pretty sure she likes us, too. ; ) Sometimes when we are both fawning over her, she puts a hand on each of our cheeks and just looks back and forth between us with a big grin. It just melts your heart.
I love these pictures! They make me want to be a dad - nothing could be better.
